About Bethsaida School of Theology
Bethsaida School of Theology (BST) is a ministry of Bethsaida International Churches. We are registered with the Florida Department of Education, Commission for Independent Education, and approved by the Board of Theological Schools.
Our purpose is to equip Christians for ministry and to help fulfill the Great Commission—reaching the world with the Gospel and making disciples for Christ.
Mission and Vision Statement of BST
The mission and vision of BST is to effectively educate and train men and women who are called to serve the Church of Christ and to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We provide in-depth biblical knowledge through both live classes and distance education, ensuring accessible and transformative training for all who are called to serve.
Our Beliefs
- The Bible: We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative written Word of God.
- The Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- The Deity of Our Lord Jesus Christ: We affirm His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal future return to earth in power and glory to reign for a thousand years.
- The Blessed Hope: We believe in the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.
- Repentance: We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
- Regeneration: We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
- Redemption: We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in response to believing prayer.
- Baptism in the Holy Spirit: We believe the baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and by the manifestation of spiritual power for public testimony and service (Acts 1:8; 2:4, 42–43; 10:44–46).
- Sanctification: We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
- Salvation: We believe the evidence of salvation is both inward and outward. Inwardly, the believer has the witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). Outwardly, salvation is demonstrated by a life of righteousness and true holiness (Romans 6:22).
- The Death of Believers: We believe that at physical death, the believer immediately enters eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord, awaiting the resurrection of the body to everlasting glory and blessing.
- The Death of Non-Believers: We believe that at physical death, the unbeliever immediately enters eternal, conscious separation from the Lord, awaiting the resurrection of the body to everlasting judgment and condemnation.
